I am so sorry to hear of Wendy's passing. I have very fond memories working with Wendy as a part of the Enteral Feeding team at Children's Hospital earlier in my career. Her passion for her family and friends was evident. Her immense skill set for Pediatrics made for a wonderful teaching opportunity for me and I will never forget my time with her. I fondly remember seeing her when I gave birth to one of my own children and she was working with the service league. Running into her serendipitously meant so much to me. Sending much love to her entire family as the navigate life without her. Thank you Wendy for teaching me so much and for your patience as I learned Amanda McMurray, Dietitian.

David and family,
We were so sorry to hear about Wendy and send our condolences to all of you. I first met Wendy many yrs ago at the Children’s hospital here in London. She was a very devoted and caring nurse to all the children that she cared for. I enjoyed golfing with Wendy as well. She will be missed by her many friends and family. Keeping you in our thoughts.

Wendy, my friend from early childhood right through to these, our senior years. A constant friend who was so enthusiastic about life: travel, golf, curling, watching hockey, snowshoeing, cottaging, entertaining, and so good at finding such interesting things to see and do. Ever efficient, organized and always there when a helping hand or solid advice was needed. So very dedicated to David, her four children and her treasured grandchildren, as well as to the service of others. It is difficult to think of my world without Wendy. She will always be remembered by me not only with love but with a smile and thanks for a lifetime of precious memories. Rest now my friend. Nancy (Brown) Ruthven

I had the good fortune to spend part of my youth growing up next door to Wendy and the Culliton family in St. Catharines.
With my Dad away for much of the year during his working days, Wendy’s parents Ann and Arn, were always around if needed.
Eventually Wendy moved on and we lost touch.
Some time later I learned Arn was at a seniors residence and decided to pay him a visit.
That’s when I reconnected with Wendy.
I stayed with Wendy and David on a few occasions-one was a visit to the Stratford Festival.
And on two occasions they had me up to the cottage which served as their northern retreat.
Good memories and relaxing times.
I was glad to manage a tour through CBC where Wendy met Eli Glasner, the talented entertainment reporter.
Wendy always enjoyed what he had to say.
Every year since getting re-acquainted with my former neighbour, Wendy never failed to remember my birthday.
The most recent occasion was early October and she expressed concern about whether she could make her trip with David
Wendy was so giving and caring and always looking to help others.
Condolences to David, Rob, family and friends.
We are all poorer for her passing.

Almost 54 yrs. ago Wendy & I met in this 3rd floor nursing station at WMCH as newly registered nurses and became friends.even then her excellent leadership skills, care, compassion, and dedication showed. Life later took us on different paths. Our paths joined again 5 yrs. ago. During that time I witnessed her strength, courage, and determination as she battled her illness with dignity. Rest in peace my dear friend you’ve earned it.
