Son of Ethel Cust and Lloyd Misener, he was born April 3rd 1940 in St. Catharines, Ontario. He is pre-deceased by his parents and devoted sister, Jean (Ebisuzaki). He is survived by his loving wife Bonda (Rennick), daughter Laura and her husband Gordon (Osinski), son Robert and his partner Karen (Irvine). In his most loved role as grandfather, he leaves behind three wonderful grandchildren, Alexander, Bronwyn and Logan. He went on to a career with Canada Border Services Agency. He loved the outdoors, spending much time away on canoe trips with his friends and family. He also loved fishing, having been a member of the Ottawa Fish and Game Club for many years while living there. His passion for canoeing and fishing has been passed down to his children and grandchildren. Don was also an artist with immense talents that he kept mostly to himself. Having lived in St. Catharines, Hawkesbury and Ottawa, he spent his final years in London, Ontario. The family would like to thank LHSC and the VON for the immense care he received during his final years. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at A.
