Obituary of William Leroy Bowron

Passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on October 23, 2023. He is reunited with his loving and cherished wife of 65 years Isabel (Issy). Born in London on December 3, 1937. Predeceased by his parents Percy & Angelina (Gaudio) Bowron, Bill was father and father-in-law of Wayne and Bonnie Bowron, Scott and Janice Bowron. Loving Papa to Dawn (BJ), Craig (Jo), Alexis and Nicole. Great Papa to Braydon, Spencer, Liam & Anthony. Brother/brother-in-law to Patricia / Gerald (deceased) Allen, Darlene /Jim Rennie and Donald (deceased) Linda Bowron. He will be fondly remembered and missed by many family and friends. Bill loved to sing and play the organ. He was an active member with the Men of Accord for 25 years and Harmony Woods. He loved to have a beer or two and throw some horseshoes. He was also a Member of the Oakridge Optimists for 20 years. Bill could fix anything broken and enjoyed building as well. Many a deck in London with his hammer marks. Awesome with a paint brush too. Bill & Issy loved camp fires, cottage life and travelling. A huge Leaf fan. Anyone that knew Bill, knows he is now singing from the heavens in harmony, with Isabel in his arms. God bless. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at a later date at Woodland Cemetery.
