Dear Fanily of Alice Baker, We have many precious memories of our dear friend ,Alice. We enjoyed many precious times of friendship with Alice in her sweet apt at Tollendale Retirement Home in Barrie. She was always so cheerful and welcoming. She loved for us to visit the coffee shop and Used Gift Shop in the building while we were there. We remember one time after an evening service taking her out for an ice cream cone and driving miles to find a Dairy Queen or McDonald’s. She was such a good sport and always up for an adventure. A very special memory we have is our bus trip to Ottawa with she and Jean Weber for the tulip festival. They were a delight and so happy to share this time together. I also remember your sweet Mom helping me with the new organ at the the Alliance Church. She and your dad were such a wonderful team and great musicians. You were blessed to call them Mom and Dad. May God comfort your hearts with His love and peace at this time of loss and grief and also joy in knowing she is safely home with your Dad and her beloved Saviour and Lord. This is so very sweet of you to share with us as a family. Thank you very much for sharing your memories. Yes, we were blessed to call them mom and dad and we are missing mom very much now, but truly rejoicing that she is with Jesus. May God bless you and your family richly!

I have many memories of Barkey reunions and remembering cousin Alice and her wonderful musical ability. Hearing Alice play piano and sing with Howard was a blessing. The Baker family will be in my prayers as you say goodbye to your dear mother and grandmother. Love Esther (Barkey) Norris
