BROWN, Penny Lillian December 4, 1943 – November 5, 2022 Peacefully, at Parkwood Hospital on Saturday, November 5th in her 79th year, after a 6-year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Penny Lillian Brown of London. Daughter of the late Mervin & Lois Brown. Predeceased by brother, Douglas Brown (2022). Survived by her sister, Patti (Mike) Corcelli, of London. Much loved aunt of Gavin (Shelby) and Tracie Corcelli of London. Great-Aunt of Arowyn, whom she would have loved deeply. Greatly missed by many other relatives and friends. Penny graduated from Victoria Hospital School of Nursing in 1965 at which time she worked in Toronto for one year before returning to London. She spent the rest of her career at Victoria Hospital, eventually achieving the title of Head Nurse and Coordinator of dialysis patients until she retired in 2000. Penny became an avid golfer and curler, and enjoyed many years of travel to Western Canada, Europe, and China. We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to the staff of McGarrell Place LTC & Parkwood Mental Health, for their wonderful dedication to Penny’s care the last few years. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.
