My deepest sympathy and condolences to Barb and family. Gerry was a wonderful gentleman and possessed a great sense of right and wrong. I had the pleasure of working with Gerry from 1988 to 1993. We shared many shifts together which I enjoy to this day.
Gerry was great Dealing with a multitude of complex issues. Gerry excelled in complex traffic investigations. His problem solving skills were appreciated by all.
Yours

Barb and family, Cathy and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Gerry's passing. We enjoyed the golf outings we had with you guys. Gerry and I spent a fair amount of time together as members of the Region's Traffic Unit. I would always try to schedule my visits to our London H.Q. so that Gerry and I could do lunch. We had many conversations discussing our work and our families. I don't know of anyone who was more proud of their family. Unfortunately we lost touch after our retirements, but we often thought of you and Gerry, and our time spent together. Gerry will be missed, but we will always remember him.

It is with deep sadness that I learned of Gerrys passing although not unexpected. Although I haven’t known Gerry very long, he was the epitome of what a good neighbour should be.Gerry was the first neighbour to come and welcome me into the neighbourhood and was faithful in coming and cleaning snow for me and also happy just to have a chat. He was such a sociable and kind neighbor. Many on our street will miss his friendly greeting and his wave from his porch. Gerry will truly be missed. RIP my friend, you will be sadly missed.
