Obituary of Deborah Lynne Davis

Peacefully, at Parkwood Hospital in London, Ontario, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Debbie passed away in her 61st year surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children Brett (Alyson) of London, ON, Joseph and Annie (Michael) of Edson, AB along with her cherished grandbabies Quinten, Isabella, Lucan and Sophie of London, ON. She will be forever missed by her sisters Carole Alce (Tim) of Seaforth, ON, Sherrie Garton of Goderich, ON and her lifelong friends Heather Williams and Sue Morrison. Debbie has been reunited with her parents Richard and Jean Davis, her sister Norma Galloway and brother Steve Davis. Debbie worked many years in logistics and transportation for About Town Taxi and Wheels Logistics Inc. before following her dream to travel out west. In 2015, Debbie moved across the country with her best friend and made her new home in Edson, Alberta. She fell in love with the mountains, wildlife and her favorite spot, Athabasca Falls. No matter where Debbie went, she was sure to make friends. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her loved ones, spending quality time with her children and grandbabies and of course her beloved cat, Tori. Debbie loved music and singing and somehow always had the ability to turn any song regardless of genres into a gospel hit. At her wish, Debbie was cremated, and a celebration of life will be held in her childhood village of Lucan, ON during the weekend of September 17-18, 2022. More information to follow. Expressions of sympathy and donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated and can be made directly to the Tanner Steffler Foundation www.tannerstefflerfoundation.com. This charity was near and dear to Debbie’s heart and supports youth in crisis, mental health, and addictions. The family with like to thank the incredible nurses and staff at the Parkwood palliative care for their tender care and support. Mothers hold their children’s hands for a while, but their hearts forever. Until we see you again Mom.
