Obituary of Gerald Paul LaHay

Gerald Paul LaHay, 53, of London, Ontario, passed away suddenly on October 2nd, 2020. Gerry was born in Oakville, Ontario. He was the son of Gerald LaHay and Lucy Warren. Brother to Debbie, Jon, Julie, and half-sister Renee. Proud father of Sarah and Phillip LaHay. Gerry had a long and successful career in food services, working in a number of senior roles in prominent establishments across our area. He was active in the community, an advocate for individuals with disabilities and mental health, and worked towards making London a more inclusive and accessible community. He was a writer of blogs and multiple books, an organizer of ‘The Pantsless Breakfast Club’, and a passionate leader not afraid to speak his mind. Gerry’s love for The Rolling Stones, Star Wars, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Coffee was known to many. He was known for his humour, an animal lover, and a good friend to many.
