Obituary of Joyce Mildred Vande Sompel

Joyce Mildred Vande Sompel (Roach), 89 passed away peacefully on Monday October 5th at University Hospital, London Ontario. Joyce was born on October 1, 1931, in Chatham, Ontario to Harold and Ruth (Gilbert) Roach. She attended Chatham Collegiate, in Chatham and became a Registered Nursing Assistant in London, Ontario working at Victoria Hospital, University Hospital & The London Psychiatric Hospital. Joyce is survived by her children, Susan & Brad Vande Sompel: and her grandchildren, Trina, Daryl, Kris and Camiel. Sister Margaret Skuce and brother in law Cecile Skude and Aunt to Lori, Janet and Valerie. She is predeceased in death by her parents; and her sister Jean and brother John. Joyce’s life is celebrated with much love by her family and friends.
