Obituary of Angelo Nino Orlando

Angelo Nino Orlando It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Angelo Nino Orlando (Papa, Zio, Nonno) in his 82nd year on Tuesday, December 8th, 2020 at LHSC – Victoria Hospital, Palliative Care. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 57 years, Ines Orlando (Di Nardo). Dear father and Best Friend of Tiziano (Alicia LeClair) and Patrizia (Moe Gascoigne). Beloved Nonno of Nino, Luca and Emma. Dear brother of Antonio (Lina Montanari) and Nicola. Angelo will also be greatly missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Angelo was a Gem and the Rock of his family. He was born in Rapino, Chieti, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1965. He loved; going to auctions, playing his harmonica, watching cooking shows, creating new dishes for our weekly family dinners and working in his garage where all of his ideas came to life with his inseparable sidekick, Nicola. He was truly a Genius. When he walked into a room, he was always the life of the party. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Francyelle Fernandez, for the gift you gave our Family of the extra special time with our cherished Angelo. Also, to Dr. Shiraz Malik, and Peter Wong and all the nurses and staff on the Palliative Care and Sub-Acute Medicine Floor of LHSC – Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion.
