Obituary of Ruth Estelle Powers

With sad hearts, the family announce the passing of kind, gentle and loving Ruth, in her 91st year, on New Year’s Day, 2021 at McCormick Home, London, Ontario. Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Ken, in 2009, and her beloved sister, Audrey, in October, 2020. Ruth will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Deborah (Neil), Douglas (Nancy) and Michael (Andrea). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Jon (Meredith), Cheryl (Joseph), Kerigin (Judd), Jordan, Jilian, Dominic, Blake and Chase as well as her step-grandchildren, Nuala (Greg), Clare (Darren) and Colin. Ruth was a proud Great-Grandmother of Zoe, Lauren, Michael, Max, Aidan, Ava, Lukas, Liam, Sullivan, Mackenzie, Cian and Ryker. Ruth will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Her family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff at McCormick Home for providing attentive, loving care to Ruth throughout her years there , and especially during her final days. A private service will take place at a later date.
