Celebration of Life will be held at the Strathroy United Church- Basement on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Visitation from 1:00 – 2:30; Words of Celebration from 2:30 to 3:30 and Fellowship and refreshments from 3:30 to 5:00.

Thelma Audrey Perry (née Murray) May 29, 1935 – March 12, 2026 Thelma Audrey Perry passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. She was just a few months away from celebrating her 91st birthday – a life defined by kindness, creativity, and an unwavering devotion to others. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert (2013); daughter Lorraine (1980); special foster child Nicole (1987); her parents Gladys and Dougald Murray, brother Dave and in-laws Jack, Lois, Charlie and Ken. She leaves behind a rich legacy through her children: Karen, Brian (Alexandra), Rob (Matthew), Bonnie, and Greg. She was a proud grandmother to Dante and Mitchell, a dear sister to Jean and Donald (Ruth). She will be deeply missed by her sisters-in-law Eleanor, Margaret, Nora, and Marilyn, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Thelma spent her life in service to her community. Whether she was teaching, providing pastoral support or palliative care, she had an uncommon gift for touching lives with empathy and grace. She was a captivating storyteller, a talented artist, master gardener and an exceptional cook. Her gifts were many and she shared them generously. Donations may be made to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity close to your heart. To truly honour Thelma, the family asks that you consider sharing your time to visit someone in need.
