Obituary of Jeffrey Charles Henderson

Jeffrey Charles Henderson, 62, passed away on May 10, 2025, at LHSC after a courageous battle with lung disease and cancer. He was born on March 21, 1963, in Brampton, Ontario and throughout his life, he was known for his unwavering values, strong work ethic, and a fierce love for his family. Jeff was a protector at heart - especially when it came to his daughter, with whom he shared a bond rooted in deep love, honesty, and ultimately, healing. In the final chapter of his life, they grew closer than ever, creating moments filled with laughter, conversation, and quiet joy. He was passionate about many things: martial arts, playing guitar, music, sports, and making people laugh with his phenomenal sense of humour. Jeff had an easygoing spirit that drew others to him, and he poured his heart into the things and people he loved most - especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Jeff leaves behind a legacy of integrity, resilience, and love. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Hart (Henderson) and her partner Steve Hart, grandchildren Madison and Ashlyn, his sister Lynn Henderson, and her partner Paul. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Ross Henderson, his mother Lorena Ann Henderson (Golding) and his brother Steven William Henderson. He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever loved. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 2-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 540, located at 136 Market St, Lucan, ON N0M 2J0.
