Obituary of Don Ambrose

Ambrose, Don Louis – It is with great sadness we report the passing of Don Ambrose on April 26, 2025. Don was born and raised in Thunder Bay. He moved to Peterborough for a job in radio where he met and married his wife Roberta, they have been together for 63 years. Don’s Career moved on to Leamington and then to London. Don had an illustrious career at C.F.P.L. Radio 98 for 32 years as a newscaster and investigation reporter. Roberta and Don spent their retirement years cruising and taking car trips all over North America. Don is survived by his sons Patrick (Rochelle) and Paul, his grandchildren Christopher (Brooke), Sarah Howe (Antonin), Ashley Gedge (Sameer Valhidy) and Aaron Gedge and his brother-in-law Jim Bridges in Peterborough. Don also has 3 greatgrandchildren Isaac, Elaan and Audrey. A Celebration of Life will be held for Don on Tuesday June 10th from 1-3 PM at the Civic Garden Complex, 625 Springbank Drive, London, Ontario.
